Hereby, PJSC "KhIMMASH", Korosten, Ukraine. Korosten
is recognized by the Shipping Register of Ukraine as an enterprise that performs the works specified in the Appendix to this Certificate in accordance with the requirements of the Shipping Register of Ukraine.
The Shipping Register of Ukraine is a national classification society that carries out technical supervision in the fields of maritime and inland waterway transport and shipping and performs
- classification of seagoing vessels, inland navigation vessels, small vessels and water motorcycles;
- Carries out technical supervision of sea vessels, inland navigation vessels, small vessels and water motorcycles in accordance with the procedure established by law;
- determining the areas and conditions of navigation of vessels;
- keeping records of vessels subject to technical supervision, maintaining the Register Book of Ships;
- technical supervision of berthing facilities, operational areas of berthing facilities, other hydraulic structures of inland waterways and seaports, and measuring works on sea and inland waterways, in the waters of seaports;
- certification of vessels, shipping companies, and coastal facilities of maritime and inland water transport in accordance with the procedure established by law;
- approval of draft documents on shipbuilding, ship repair and technical operation of ships;
- publishing instructions and information materials on the technical operation of ships, shore-based maritime and inland waterway transport facilities.
The tasks and functions of the Shipping Register of Ukraine are determined by the Regulation on the Shipping Register of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 814 dated 08.06.1998.
